Dr. Folder is an application that lets you mark folders with color-coded and image-coded icons in one mouse click, making them easy to find and use. It also allows you to change the system default icon, restore the default icon, add your icons to the built-in library and customize the context menu to your preferences.

Its user interface is pretty and friendly. It can search and replace the standard icon of a folder on any other icon, so you can make your folders lively. Its functions include the ability to distinguish local directories from network and shared ones, add special icons for important folders and create customized folders.

The program comes with a huge number of icons that are organized neatly in the lower part of the user interface, separated into distinct folders. Once you select the desired icons, you can apply them instantly or restore the previous default icons if you want to use them again.

Besides changing the icons of folders, the application also lets you convert PNG, BMP, JPG and GIF images into ICO files. This is helpful if you have any favorite image that you would like to use as a folder icon but the ICO file format is not supported by your device.
